Frequently asked questions

Everything you need to know about setting up, shipping, and sliding on Swole Much Fun. Still have a question? We're happy to help.

What exactly is a Swole Much Fun slide?

It's a commercial-grade inflatable slip-and-slide built from drop-stitch, air-filled PVC — the same rigid air-track construction used in high-end paddleboards. Once inflated it forms a firm, cushioned surface, so you're sliding on air rather than on the hard ground. Add water and you've got a fast, smooth, modular slide for backyards, events, and rentals.

What is it made of?

Heavy-duty drop-stitch PVC. Thousands of internal threads connect the top and bottom layers, so when the section is inflated it holds a flat, rigid shape under pressure instead of ballooning. The result is a tough, commercial-grade surface that's soft to land on but firm enough to slide fast.

How do the sections connect, and how long can I make it?

Each section is a 20-foot piece, and they link together end to end, so you can build a slide to almost any length your space allows. Run a single 20-foot section, or connect several for a long course. Mix in The Jump for airtime or The Drop-In as an entry ramp to customize the ride.

What do I need to set it up and run it?

Three things: an electric air pump to inflate the sections to roughly 5–10 psi, a water source with a regular garden hose to keep the surface slick, and a reasonably flat, open patch of yard. That's it — inflate, connect, add water, and slide.

How big and heavy is each section?

Every section is about 20 feet long and 3 feet wide. Because they're built from thick drop-stitch PVC, they're genuinely heavy — plan on more than one person to move and position a section. Their size and weight are also why orders ship by freight rather than standard parcel.

How does shipping work?

Orders ship by LTL (less-than-truckload) freight nationwide. Because the slides are large and heavy, freight is the right way to get them to you safely. Your shipping cost depends on your region, and you'll choose a freight option at checkout. We'll coordinate delivery details with you after you order.

When will my order ship?

These are pre-orders from our first production run. Once your section comes off the line, we'll confirm your exact ship date by email and keep you posted through delivery. We currently estimate the first run ships within a few weeks of order, but the confirmed date always comes by email.

Is it safe, and what ages is it for?

The air-filled surface is designed to be more forgiving than sliding on the ground, and the rigid drop-stitch build keeps it stable. As with any water slide, adult supervision is required, riders should go one at a time per section, and you should keep the surface wet and the area clear. We recommend it for ages 6 and up, with younger or smaller sliders supervised closely.

How durable is it, and is there a warranty?

The slides use commercial-grade, drop-stitch PVC built to stand up to repeated use — including rental and event duty. The design is patent pending. We back each slide with a limited warranty against manufacturing defects (target: one year); reach out to order@swolemuchfun.com and we'll take care of you.

Can I use it with a pool or lake?

Yes. The Drop-In doubles as a standalone pool slide — a self-supporting entry ramp you can slide off of into a pool. The Jump is built to launch riders into the air and works great for sending you straight into a lake. Always check water depth and clearance before any launch into open water.

Do you offer rentals or wholesale pricing?

Yes. We work with rental operators and offer wholesale for businesses putting these to work at events and parks. Head to our rentals and wholesale page to learn more and get in touch about volume.

What's your return policy?

We want you to be thrilled with your slide. See our returns and warranty page for the full details on eligibility, timelines, and how to start a return, since freight items have a few specifics worth reading before you order.

How do I clean and store it?

Cleanup is simple: rinse the surface with a hose to remove dirt and debris, then let it dry completely. Once it's dry, deflate the section and roll it up for compact storage. Storing it clean and dry keeps the PVC in great shape season after season.

Which slide should I start with, and what does it cost?

The Flatty ($475) is the core flat track and the best place to start. The Jump ($695) adds airtime and launches, and The Drop-In ($795) is an entry ramp that also works as a standalone pool slide. Want the full setup? Packages start at $1,595. Browse them all on the products page.
